I was looking into this bc some ppl had thought Ed drank to sleep but!! Thats not what was being shown in the film.
- It is said in the ova he goes and drinks at the bar and they obviously had this bottle for a while bc alchohol probably wasnt cheap during this time in Germany. -
But the point im trying to get at is he either decided to drink as celebration for finding Al or bc Noa brought it and having it there made him decide to. Or both. I’ll go with both bc that makes the most sense. Ed obvs got turnt bc he just went to bed in his clothes and left everything messy. Its shown he sleeps in shorts and covers up with the blanket and he usually keeps his desk decent, even having the chair pushed in enough to not be in the way. Also even though his bed is never actually nicely made, he still makes an attempt but when he had gotten drunk it looks like he just threw himself on and kicked everything out the way.
Ed is kind of a heavy sleep as he is shown to be able to sleep anywhere but i think hed be alerted enough to wake up if he felt someone else come in. also hes never slept alone?? Hes always had Al watch over him so without Al i imagine him becoming a lighter sleeper, not by choice but just bc he no longer has that safe feeling of beung peotected. He also talks in his sleep, so i dont think hes fully alseep a lot. The only time i talk or move in my sleep is when im still half awake and my mind and dream get mixed. (if that makes sense)
Noa had planned for him to get drunk so she could come in and see his thoughts about alchemy and his home without him waking up or asking questions in the morning about if someone was in his room. She does technically betray Ed by siding with ekhart for a bit to open the gate. and it was ekhart who told her to do this i think lol. Ed forgives and forgets though bc he understands her reason.
I cannot believe I have to fucking explain this…
Do NOT give your birds cigarettes (even if they are unlit) or alchohol. This should be a no-brainer but apparently some people are too fucking dumb to realize this.
Do not smoke around your bird. Or any other pets for that matter.
Do not leave toddlers or babies alone (unsupervised) with birds. They could injure each other and toddlers will most likely not know to not squeeze a bird (birds lack a diaphragm which means if you put too much pressure on their chest they will suffocate and die.) Your bird could also bite a toddler or baby which could (depending on the size of the bird and how hard they bite) really hurt them.
Do not leave cats or dogs alone with your birds. Even if they get along and play, cat and dog saliva could kill a bird.
Do not leave a bird out of the cage when you are not at home. They could get into mischief and hurt themselves.
Do not give your birds drugs and this includes caffeine.

#4: Balcony
I dabbled with pixel art for the first time last week. ‘Miraculous Ladybug’ fans will hopefully recognize Marinette’s rooftop balcony as inspired by the episode ‘Glaciator’!
